 A young man was shot in the head in Village, San Nicolas Tuesday night at Sint Maartenstraat #24. He was in critical condition when paramedics transported him to hospital.
He died around 12:44 a.m. on Wednesday. The victim, Nicaurio "Nico" Toledo (22) was well liked in the neighborhood; he was an avid basketball player and was recently left jobless when Valero closed in November. He is the father of a seven-month baby. Witnesses told police the suspects drove a white Toyota Yaris, others said it was a Toyota Corolla. A man in black, wearing a hood got out of the car and shot the victim. Comments
