Recently the Aruba Tourism Authority had the great pleasure of honoring two very nice couples, whom are loyal and friendly visitors of Aruba, at the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, as Distinguished Visitors .

The symbolic honorary title is presented in the name of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation to guests who visit Aruba for 10 to 19 consecutive years.

The honorees were Mr. Francis and Mrs. Joan Landry from Burlington Mass. And Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Janet Scharf from Exton Penn. Both couples love the Island very much, because of the friendly people of Aruba, the friends that they meet every year at the Resort, the climate, beaches, restaurants and the diversity of the island and Aruba feels like a second home and the people are like a family to them.  The certificates were presented during a celebration with champagne and breakfast courtesy of the Resort, by Mr. Ernest Giel representing the Aruba Tourism Authority together with Mrs. Avril representing the Divi Phoenix.
