Traffic chaos as people rush to gas stations on Christmas Eve |

Police had to assist with solving the traffic chaos at different occasions on Christmas Eve, as people rushed to gas stations. All Valero gas stations closed, while Texaco stations stayed open a little longer. The lines at Sero Blanco service station blocked the traffic all the way into the Caya Betico Croes intersection, as well as on the other roads, leading from Sero Blanco up to the service station.
Police could not do much more than remain in the area of the gas stations as a preventive measure until the Texaco stations closed.
