Hundreds attended the inauguration of the Oranjestad downtown area's first tram on Monday morning. Aruba Prime Minister Mike Eman rode the tram with invitees on board from in front of the Archaeological Museum to the area dubbed Mambo Plaza, in front of Penha. In the afternoon hours the tram was driven up to Burger King. The first passenger was a member of Funari, a club for people with physical challenges.
