In the serene environment of Arikok National Park, Princess Laurentien, Minister Michelle Hooyboer-Winklaar and Prime Minister Mike Eman, together with invitees celebrated the arrival of the Princess' second book "Mr. Finney and the other side of the water" in Papiamento. Prime Minister Eman traveled to Holland just over a year ago to receive the book's first issue in Dutch.
On Aruba the book was baptized by a godmother, a godfather and a "yaya". Eman said it is a great honor to have Princess Laurentien on Aruba for the occasion and he considers it a great recognition for the projects that together are being worked on and a demonstration of the resolution that was developed to work together. He thanked Alice van Romondt, who together with Charuba, UNOCA and the translators, acted on his request and provided for the book to be translated to Papiamento. "We are proud of this and also we are proud that you, Princess Laurentien are here with us to together present the book and at the same time create an important momentum for what concerns cooperation within the Kingdom," Eman stated. He said they stood in one of the nicest places on Aruba, indicating why the island needs cooperation and what the thought behind durable development is. Eman added, "Today we have a book in front of us in which in a beautiful manner the need for durability is described. We are honored that such an important theme is being communicated in Papiamento as well to the children."
