The organizing committee and Prime Minister Mike Eman, together with partners KPMG, PwC, Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche will introduce the networking event "Europe Meets The Americas" to local businesses at 2:10 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce's Business Plaza on Saturday, January 19.  All interested parties are invited to attend this presentation during which they will receive information on how to participate at the conference and how local companies can get prepared to increase their chances of being successful at offering their services and establishing good contacts at the conference. The actual conference takes place May 6-8, 2013 at Renaissance Convention Center. The Europe Meets The Americas conference is an important step in presenting Aruba as a gateway or hub for businesses from Europe looking to do business in Latin America, and vice versa. The opportunities for local companies are many, but they have to be well informed and involved and the conference organizing committee is working on engaging local entrepreneurs. The Dutch government has shown its support and is providing assistance from the embassies in Latin America, among others.
