Laura Dekker, the Dutch 14-year-old sailor who is on her solo tour around the world made her stop in Darwin harbor while the Nuon Solar Team was also in town preparing for the World Solar Challenge. The young girl decided to visit the team from the Delft technical university.

Javier St. Jago gave her an explanation on how the car functions. The Nuon Solar Team designed, developed and built the Nuna6 solar car. Javier St. Jago is an Aruban who got involved in the project a few years ago. He is also one of the car’s drivers. Last year he was on Aruba with the Nuna5 for the First Green Aruba conference.
