A pregnant woman and her unborn child are Aruba's 5th and 6th 2013 traffic casualties. The woman was seven months pregnant at the time of the accident and despite all efforts the mother nor her child could be saved.

Saturday in the early morning hours a tourist ruined the DJ equipment at a nightclub at The Village, when she decided to drench the DJ inside the booth. The costly electronic equipment was soaked and badly damaged. Police detained the tourist, who was described by local media as "a little too happy", she was taken to the Shaba precinct where attempts were being made to come to an agreement with her on replacement of the damaged equipment.

Fabiano Tromp passed away at the hospital Friday in the early morning hours, after he was hit by a car in the area of the Roman Catholic Church in Oranjestad on April 2. Tromp was 83, born on January 20, 1930, he lived at Paraguana 4. Police are still investigating the accident.

A guest of the Hyatt, Marcus Spera (23) was reported missing by family members who had not seen him since Thursday 8 a.m.; after checking the man's description Police notified family that they had detained him earlier in the afternoon for his own safety.
