The Aruba government has signed an agreement with the Dutch government, in which the Dutch government confirmed its commitment to helping Aruba find loans with lower interest rates on the international market. The agreement was signed during a work visit of Prime Minister Mike Eman and Minister of Finance Mike de Meza to the Netherlands last week.

During the visit the ministers also met with different parties on the upcoming Europe Meets the Americas conference taking place in May on Aruba. The conference is geared towards promoting Aruba as an economic gateway between businesses from the two continents.
